Congratulations to Junior Board Member, Layla as she participated in the Savings Challenge and won $100. (January 2023)

We awarded a $500 student achievement award to college student, Noah for being a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, the University Guides Service, the UVA Democrats (Outreach Chair), Class of 2024 Council, and the Lighting of the Lawn Committee. (April 2023)

We went to a high school's business expo featuring students from the MADE specialty program and awarded the student-owned business, Defined Roots a $500 Visa gift card. (April 2023)

TMMF provided breakfast, supplies, and student prizes for the staff at GCA for teacher appreciation. (May 2023)

We awarded a $500 student achievement award to author and motivational speaker, Kelli. She played Division I basketball while earning a degree in education. Kelli wrote the book, "The Aftershock" and is currently taking business classes while in the process of developing her clothing line. (July 2023)

We awarded a $500 student achievement award to Kyndle for her many activities throughout her high school years. Some of the positions she held include the following: fiction editor, assistant nonfiction editor, managing editor, editor-in-chief, writer's club forum member, captain of the varsity girls volleyball team, secretary for the inter-club council, president of the social media club, captain of a travel/club volleyball team, member of NHS, and member in Chesterfield County's Gifted Education Advisory committee. Kyndle plans to major in Writing, Literature, and Publishing in college this fall. (July 2023).

What do chips, candy, hand soaps, hand creams, and school supplies have in common? They were all part of a teacher appreciation for a central VA high school staff on their parent/teacher conference day! (November 2023)

Congratulations to Kristina, the recipient of our $500 fall student achievement award! She is double majoring in HPEX- with a concentration in Health Science and Psychology. Kristina has made the Dean's List every semester. She is a member of the Black Student Union, the Pre-Physical Therapy Club, and Sisters and Stethoscopes. Even though she is a full time student, Kristina also works as a Physical Therapy aide and a housekeeper. (December 2023)
